This was inspired by a conversation I had with a guy who was somewhat frustrated and tired of living this single life. Something I was made aware of today...there is a % of men who desire a wife and family(kids) they've accomplished much except for marriage. The holidays are just as sensitive or bittersweet for them b/c they too get the harassment from family about their relationship status.
I began to tweet about it, but I have turned it into a blog! So to all the men...BE ENCOURAGED! This is just a SEASON!
Dear Single Man,
Be encouraged, your "prime rib" is out there.Don't give up on real love. Don't let what you see in the media/world change your conviction & heart of having a love that NEVER fails. There is a Woman specifically for you who will SUPPORT the man that you are.
There is a Woman who covers you in prayer daily b/c she knows you are out there with a genuine heart preparing for her.Trust me b/c you made a vow to God and yourself to lay your "player card" on the altar, who God has 4 u is living purely!
You don't have to settle for less than what you know God has for you, but don't be superficial! Your father may be little or no example at all, but b/c it's in your heart, God will HELP you be the best husband and father! There is a woman for you who sees beyond what you can do for her...her love is self-less and unconditional.
Trust that where you are is not punishment...it's preparation!! Know that you are a(n) example to men who may or may not ever say anything to you. LEAD with your life. Take as much time as you need, do not rush through this season! Your WAITING is not in vain. "Noooooo of course not!"
Don't let family or friends make you feel any less because you are not married yet. You are where you are suppose to be. Be healed of your past...don't hold your future mate responsible for what happEND. God hasn't forgotten about you or left you hanging...
He is forever present waiting on you to hold His hand on this journey! If no one ever says it, I am proud of YOU! Pat yourself on the back!!! Truth is, you had to date THEM, you had to marry THEM, and THEY had to leave you, and break your heart. Why? Single Man, all of IT had to happened so that you can know that ALL things work together for the good of them who love God...(Romans 8:28)
God hasn't forgotten about you or left you hanging...He is forever present waiting on you to hold His hand on this journey!
